The directory, created by Dr. Jason Betts, is compiled from certified high-range intelligence tests sent in by listees. They generally come in four flavours: Verbal, numerical, spatial, and logical. Any single test can include all or one of these categories. With help from Ivec, a list of those tests, including their strengths and weaknesses are listed in the following slides.
Please note that all documentation must be the original or a notarized copy of the original. Review of your qualifying scores may be delayed if your documentation does not meet this requirement. Further, in order for scores to be accepted for Mensa membership, tests must be administered by a neutral and qualified third party in a traditional testing environment under conditions appropriate for the norming standards of each test such as the classroom of a certified school teacher or a private psychologist. The term " IQ " is an abbreviation for the term "intelligence quotient. This intelligence level is expressed by a ratio of the mental age to the chronological age. IQ tests are often used for determining the intelligence of job applicants, military applicants, students, and others. An IQ test is generally administered by a psychologist; but, many informal IQ assessments can be found on the Internet.
