Special Interest & Task Groups

Special Interest Groups may be established to represent particular interests such as those of male-to-female trans, female-to-male trans, non-binary etc.  This will allow issues specific to those groups to be pursued in more depth, even though there may not be interest from across the full trans spectrum.

Task Groups may be established to organize individual campaigns, for example, participation in protests and marches or to participate in awareness-raising activities.  This will permit more focussed leadership to be established in order to concentrate on specific tasks.

Special Interest Groups or Task Groups may be established or dissolved by means of a majority vote of all Active Members present at an Alliance meeting (by means of a show of hands.)

Each Special Interest Group or Task Group will be coordinated by two Co-Chairs, who will be selected by the consensus of a majority of the members of the Group.  These Co-Chairs may subsequently be deselected by consensus of a majority of the members of the Group and replaced with a new Group member.
